Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu spoke over the phone with his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the Libyan and Syrian affairs and famine in Somalia. A statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry said here today that during the call Davutoglu briefed his UAE counterpart on the contacts he made recently in Syria and also discussed with him the Libyan issue. The statement added that Davutoglu invited to the UAE to participate in the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which will be held in Istanbul on August 17 to discuss the issue of famine in Somalia.
