New York - Irna

The UN Secretary-General Spokesperson, Martin Nesirky, says the UN Chief, Ban Ki-Moon, has sent Iran’s protest letter regarding the US’ anti-Iran allegations to the UN Security Council for scrutiny. The UN Chief has referred the letter to the UN Security Council for study and comment, Nasirky said when asked about Ban Ki-Moon’s reaction to the letter. Nesirky said the US too has sent a letter to Ban Ki-Moon in protest to the so-called plot to kill the Saudi Ambassador to Washington as Ban has sent the letter to the Council too. Also asked about Ban’s reaction to the two letters, he said the UN Chief had shown no reaction to the two and just sent them to the UN Security Council.
