The United Nations has temporarily suspended aid deliveries to Nigeria’s northeastern state of Borno after two UNICEF employees were injured in a terrorist attack on an aid convoy.
UNICEF reported that the assailants attacked an aid convoy on its way back from Bama. The attack left two people injured; one is a UNICEF staffer and the other is a contractor of the International Organization for Migration, said UNICEF in a press statement to Sky News.
