Deputy Regional Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Karen Daduryan on Sunday said the fund supports Egypt in implementing its 2030 strategy for sustainable development.
Addressing a seminar of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), Daduryan added that Egypt's national strategy would be led by the government that would be provided with data, technical information and expertise by the UNFPA.
The UNFPA deputy regional director said the fund would support policies developed by Egypt and come in line with the global strategy and the African agenda 2063.
