US says ready to back Somalia in terror fight

The US mission to Somalia has stressed Washington's readiness to assist Mogadishu in the terror fight.
The mission, in a statement, condemned as cowardly a deadly attack that left a round 280 people dead in the Somali capital.
"Such cowardly attacks reinvigorate the commitment of the United States to assist our Somali and African Union partners to combat the scourge of terrorism", the statement was by ABC News as saying.
