The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Wednesday that stated the following:
"We are pleased that the political uncertainty in Lebanon has ended by Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, withdrawing his recently announced resignation.
We want the country's independence and sovereignty to be based on national consensus in Lebanon, and we hope for continued security, stability and prosperity.
Turkey will continue to work side by side with the brotherly and friendly Lebanese people with which it has deep-rooted historical ties
