Witnesses: Settlers set fire to fields in Qalqiliya

Residents of the illegal Zufin settlement on Tuesday set fire to fields behind an area of the separation wall in Qalqiliya, witnesses said. Witnesses reported seeing a group of settlers in the area before a vast area of olive fields was set alight. They said Palestinian firefighters were denied access to the area by Israeli soldiers stationed at a gate in the separation wall, which completely encircles the city of Qalqiliya.
