Yemeni Vice President Abdrabbu Mansour Hadi discussed on Sunday with US Ambassador in Sanaa Gerald M. Feierstein the latest developments in the country, including recent consultations and outcome of UN Representative to Yemen Jamal bin Omar's talks with Yemeni parties. According to Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hadi also discussed ways of finding a swift end to the crisis in the country and ways to find common ground with parties involved, including the return of dialogue and ensuring success to it. The Yemeni Vice President also briefed the US Ambassador on the ongoing military clashes in the southern Abyen province, stressing on the huge losses to terrorists, in terms of manpower and equipment. Meanwhile, Hadi also met British Deputy Ambassador to Yemen Fiona Gibb where the two discussed ways of bolstering ties and current developments on the ground. The British diplomat is following closely developments in Yemen, stressing importance on her country's keenness on ensuring stability and security in Yemen, SABA said.
