A new Israeli airstrike on northern Gaza Strip area of Jabalia killed three Palestinians and wounded five others early on Saturday, medics and witnesses said.
Ashraf al-Qedra, told reporters that an Israeli war jet fired a missile at a group of Palestinians sitting near a mosque in Jabalia area in northern Gaza Strip, killing three and wounding five others, two are in critical condition.
He said that overnight, two more Palestinians were killed in another airstrike on the central Gaza Strip town of Deir el-Ballah. Witnesses said the two are members in Hamas movement.
The Palestinian health ministry said in a press statement that since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip early on Tuesday, 111 Palestinians have been killed and 780 wounded.
The ministry said two third of the casualties and fatalities are civilians, children, women and old men, adding that there is a severe shortage on medical and health services that the hospitals in the Gaza Strip provide.
Overnight and early Saturday, Israeli war jets kept striking on houses all over the Gaza Strip, while militants' groups, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, continued firing rockets deeper into Israel.
