The Head of the Popular Committee Against the Siege Jamal al Khodari said that the humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip are getting worse due to the blockade imposed on the enclave and division between Palestinian factions.
In press statements on Wednesday, al Khodari underlined that the strip suffers from the blockade and delay of the reconstruction process.
He further reiterated that the electricity crisis, increasing rates of unemployment as well as poverty and troubles of United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) are among the problems faced by Gaza.
Al Khodari called on the Palestinians to unite to face these challenges, urging the international community to save the Palestinian people.
