Israeli forces detained eleven Palestinians on Tuesday, including a minor, after breaking into their houses from several West Bank districts, said security sources.
Forces raided the Hebron neighborhood of Jabal Jawhar, where they detained three Palestinians, including a minor, after breaking into their families’ homes. The detainees were identified as Mahmoud Jaber, 12, Rabah Abu Odeh, 19, and Ayman al-Zaghal, 30.
Israeli soldiers also raided Halhul town to the north of the city, where they detained two Palestinians after storming and ransacking their houses. The detainees were identified as Odai Zama‘ra, 19, and Abdul-Qader Ad-Duda, 30.
Soldiers set up roadblocks at the entrances of Sa‘ir and Halhul north of the city as well as at the northern entrance of the city, where they stopped and inspected vehicles with Palestinian registration plates and examined passengers’ identity cards.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, police stormed Jabal al-Mukabber neighborhood south of the city and detained two young Palestinians after breaking into their homes. The detainees were identified as Kazem Abu Sbaih, 17, and Majd Shqairat, 19.
They also detained a Palestinian young man after breaking and wrecking havoc into his family’s house in Nabi Samuel village to the northwest of the city. The detainee was identified as Ahmad Barakat, 22.
In the meantime in Bethlehem district, forces raided Husan village west of the city and detained a Palestinian after storming and ransacking his family’s house. The detainee was identified as Muhammad Hamamra, 18.
Military units raided Jaba’ town south Jenin, stormed and wrecked havoc into a Palestinian detainee’s family’s house, triggering clashes with local young men.
They also stormed Al-‘Araqa village to the west of the city, where they detained two Palestinians after storming their houses. The detainees, who are brothers, were identified as ‘Ali, 34, and ‘Ala’ Yahya, 24.
According to a well-informed source in Jaba’, the detainee whose family’s house was stormed was identified as Nazih Abu ‘Aoun, 53.
During the clashes, soldiers fired stun grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets at Palestinian locals. No injuries were reported in the raid.
