Violent clashes erupted early Wednesday between a number of Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces in the Shu'fat refugee camp, north east occupied Jerusalem.
The Shu'fat Popular service Committee said in a statement that the Israeli troops stormed the camp as their vehicles and bulldozers were preparing to carry out a massive demolition for Palestinians' shops on a road near the military checkpoint.
The committee added that Israeli soldiers imposed a tight military cordon around the area and closed the checkpoint before the movement of Palestinians and their vehicles, noting that a state of tension prevails there.
The Israeli occupation forces late Tuesday stormed the camp and handed over notifications to demolish about 20 shops inside the camp.
