At least 16 senior Taliban commanders were killed followinga suicide attack in eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan on Tuesday.National Directorate of Security (NDS) following a statement said the Taliban leaders were planning coordinated attacks in Ghazni province when a Taliban suicidebomber opposed with the Taliban leaders plans and detonated his explosives,according to Khaama Press.The statement by NDS also added that a number of Pakistani Taliban commanderswere also among those killed. At least 9 Taliban commanders were also injured inthe attack, NDS said.This comes as at least seven Taliban militants were killed while they were making improvised explosive device (IED) in Deh Yak district of Ghazni province onSaturday.
