Up to six Taliban militants have been killed and 12 others injured over the past 24 hours as military crackdown against militants continues in the northern Kunduz province, a security official Abdul Khalil said Monday.
Two Taliban group commanders namely Qari Aminullah and Hussain are also among those killed in the crackdown.
The official, however, didn't say if there were casualties on security personnel.
Taliban militants who are in control of parts of the restive Kunduz province are yet to make comment on the situation.
