At least 37 militants, including Pakistani and Tajik nationals, were killed during clearing operations in northern Kunduz province of Afghanistan, Khaama Press reported, citing the Ministry of Defense.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Defense said the operations were conducted in the vicinity of Dasht-e-Archi district.
The statement further added that two Pakistani nationals and three others belonging to Tajikistan were among those killed and at least 25 others were wounded.
The Afghan armed forces also confiscated various types of weapon and explosives during the same operations, MoD said, adding that three members of the Afghan National Army (ANA) forces were also killed
