Unidentified Gunmen Attack Government Official in North Afghanistan
Kabul - Arab Today

The acting head of sectorial department was wounded in an armed attack in northern Baghlan province early on Monday, an official said. 
Police spokesman Zabihullah Shuja told Pajhwok Afghan News that unidentified gunmen attacked Mohammad Shifa Sanaee in Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital. 
He said that Sanaee, who suffered head and shoulder injuries, was evacuated to hospital. Police have launched investigations into the incident while no arrest has been made so far. 
An eyewitness, said two motorcyclists asked Sanaee to disembark from his vehicle and sprayed him with bullets. The assailants managed to escape, Pajhwok Afghan news reported.
