The Saudi-led coalition aircraft shelled some positions of Houthi militants and forces loyal to former president Ali Saleh in Marib and Al Jawf governorates in northern Yemen, Saba Media Center said on Friday.
As many as eight Houthis were killed in the Arab coalition airstrikes on a number of their sites in Harib district of Marib governorate, the media center added.
Also, a raft of Houthi military vehicles and equipment were destroyed in the Arab coalition shelling in the district.
The media center said that gunmen driving a car have attacked a Houthi military point close to the Harib Castle, leaving a Houthi militant killed and injuring three others.
Meanwhile, the Arab coalition aircraft pounded reinforcements called for by the Houthis stranded in Al Libnat military camp in Al Jawf governorate, killing 15 Houthi members and devastating a tank and military vehicles,Yemen's tribal sources said.
