Marseille striker Andre-Pierre Gignac has revealed that he turned down an offer from Everton during the January transfer window, and is instead holding out to join one of the Premier League's biggest clubs, such as Manchester United, in the future.Gignac has found first team opportunities at the Stade Velodrome limited this season, having made just nine Ligue 1 appearances to date. However, the 26-year-old was not tempted to join David Moyes' Toffees, as he admitted it would represent a step down from Marseille."Everton is a top club in England but for me Marseille is bigger and more attractive," Gignac told Sky Sports."I want to play one day abroad but at a bigger club like the Manchester Uniteds of this world."The 26-year-old former Toulouse forward, who was reportedly also the subject of interest from Fulham, Brest, Lorient and Nice, insisted that he would not give up on his career at Marseille.
