London - Arabstoday

Park Ju-young believes Arsenal are about to see just what he can do after now feeling settled into English life. The Korea Republic captain, 26, has only made three appearances since his January switch from Monaco, with none of those actually in the Premier League. However, Park showed glimpses of what he is capable of with a fine strike in the League Cup win over Bolton Wanderers last month. With nearly all of Arsenal's first team having been away in international action - during which Park scored in his fifth consecutive game for Korea Republic - Gunners manager Arsene Wenger could rotate his squad in Saturday's match at Norwich City. Park is ready should the chance come his way. "I couldn't train much for about two months before I moved here. I just had to do some personal training instead," Park said. "Since I joined the team it has been two months and I feel like I am in my normal condition now. The coaches adjust the training depending on the games we play and it is good." Park added: "I am settling off the pitch as well. All the Arsenal staff and everyone else have helped me. Also my wife is here so I don't have many problems settling down." Wenger will be hoping for positive news on the injury front as the jet-setting squad return to London Colney. In-form captain Robin van Persie did not play for the Netherlands in their defeat by Germany last night following a request from the Gunners, but winger Theo Walcott featured in both of England's friendlies, although only the first half against Sweden at Wembley last night. Midfielder Yossi Benayoun is another whose Premier League time has been limited, but the on-loan Chelsea man is likely to be in contention to start against the Canaries, as could England Under-21 starlet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Wenger must also decide on whether to experiment again with his central defensive partnership at Carrow Road, where Arsenal will be out to chalk up a fifth successive league win to close in on the top four. Laurent Koscielny was preferred to Per Mertesacker alongside fit-again Thomas Vermaelen against West Bromwich Albion, while the German had started the goalless UEFA Champions League draw with Marseille. Mertesacker provides a commanding presence, and Vermaelen maintains there should be no issue with whatever selection the manager makes this weekend. "I only trained for a short time with Per before that [Marseilles] game because I had been injured since he came to Arsenal," Vermaelen said. "For me it was a bit strange because I played alongside him for the first time straight away in a Champions League game. But we know each other's qualities because I have seen him in games and you know where the other centre-back is going to be. I don't think it is a big problem."
