Cambodian police arrested three suspects in the abduction and slaying of the 8-year-old son of a U.S. embassy security guard, officials said. Guard Kong Rasy, 42, was told if he paid the kidnappers they would return his son but a villager found the boy's badly beaten body in a park after Rasy paid the abductors $3,500, The Phnom Penh Post reported Tuesday. Rasy said the kidnappers originally asked for $100,000 but later dropped the figure to $30,000. "The kidnappers said if I did not pay them the money, they would cut my son's fingers off one by one," Rasy said. Ministry of Interior officials said police arrested three suspects.
