At least four people were shot dead and 15 others injured in an armed fight between two families in southern Egypt, official MENA news agency reported Saturday. According to investigations, the two big families in Aswan governorate had old disputes, which were recently renewed and led to the armed clashes. Security forces have sent backup to the fighting scene to contain the situation. There has been increasing illegal weapon trade and possession due to lack of security following the upheaval that ousted ex- president Hosni Mubarak in 2011. The interior ministry has seize over 4,000 pieces of illegally- possessed weapons nationwide since the beginning of June.
