Four Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip agreed on a common list to run for municipal elections, set for October 8.
The four factions are the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front (PPSF), the Palestinian Liberation Front (PLF), the Arab Liberation Front (ALF) and Palestinian Arab Front (PAF).
In a press release on Monday, PPSF leader Abdul Aziz Qudeih said consultations are underway with independent national and social figures to draw up a common list that is acceptable by the Palestinian citizens.
On June 21, the Palestinian government decided to hold municipal elections in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip and Al Quds city on October 8.
