Four tunnels on the Egyptian borders with Gaza were destroyed and illegal immigration attempts by 307 people were foiled, the Egyptian army said in a statement on Thursday.
Thwarting the illegal immigration attempts in Salloum and Abu Ramad falls within the framework of continued efforts to deal blows to criminals and drug smugglers, read the statement.
These efforts go parallel with the Armed Forces' war against terror.
