The Arab Ministerial Committee on Somalia held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of Arab League Secretary General Dr Nabil Al-Arabi and the participation of its 11 member countries including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria, Djibouti, Sudan, Somalia, Oman, Libya, Egypt and Yemen.
The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting was headed by Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Committee submitted its draft resolution on Somalia for the approval by the plenary session of the Arab Ministerial (Council), which begins its 36th session later today under the chairmanship of the State of Palestine.
