The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, ADJD, has received a judicial delegation from China, under the framework of promotion of mutual cooperation and exchange of knowledge between judicial institutions.
Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary at the ADJD, emphasised ADJD's desire to promote the exchange of knowledge with various local, regional and international judicial institutions, with the aim of adopting the best international judicial practices, as per the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
The Chinese delegation which was accompanied by a group of representatives from the Dubai International Financial Centre, was received by Ali Al Shaer Al Dhaheri, Director of the Judicial Inspection Administration in Abu Dhabi; Mohammed Al Shibli, Director of the Prosecution Affairs Administration; Dr. Salah Khamis Al Junaibi, Director of Institutional Communication and International Co-operation at the Judicial Department; Nadia Al Ali, Director of the International Cooperation Administration; Kholoud Abdulqader, Director of the Partnerships and Community Responsibility Administration; Mark Beer, CEO of the Dubai International Financial Centre, and Amna Al Owais, Co-CEO of the Dubai International Financial Centre.
The delegation reviewed the latest specialised E-Systems and telecommunications systems used by the Abu Dhabi courts, as well as their case management system. They learnt about how officials respond to inquiries about cases, their role in achieving the ADJD’s priorities, to promote efficiency and sustainability in its judicial work and facilitate complete access to its services.
The delegation was also introduced to the specialised E-Systems used in local prosecution work, including a public prosecution system that can process complex workflows and create easy solutions to provide the appropriate services to relevant parties, as well as new means of serving customers through e-services, facilitate access to prosecution services and generate smart reports, ensuring the achievement of the department’s main performance indicators.
The delegation watched an introductory film about the ADJD and its new headquarters, which includes all Abu Dhabi courts, its equipment and high-level capacities.
At the end of the visit, the delegation praised the level of services provided by the ADJD and its use of advanced technologies, which facilitate access to justice and provide judicial services according to the highest international standards.
