Abu Dhabi Police has established the Commander-in-Chief Award for Humanitarian Work, as part of its efforts to promote corporate social responsibility and volunteerism under the strategy for the Year of Giving 2017.
Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Commander-in Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, said the award was created in response to government and international humanitarian events that contribute to instilling values of giving, volunteerism, community service and solidarity, as well as to preserve security and stability.
''The award serves the message and commitment of the police to promoting values of good citizenship within the local community,'' he added
