Al Bayt Mitwahid Association and Emirates foundation, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, which will see the two parties working together on the development of initiatives and actions that aim to foster a sense of solidarity, national pride, and duty within the UAE community.

During the signing, Al Bayt Mitwahid Association showcased their rich community history, as well as their ongoing initiatives and campaigns. The Emirates Foundation contributed to the presentation by providing an overview of how their ‘Volunteers.ae’ was conceptualised and established.

Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Managing Director and board member of the Emirates Foundation, and Jaber Mohammed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Crown Prince's Court and Honorary Vice Chairman of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association, were both in attendance to witness the official signing by Saif Ali Al Qubaisi, Chairman of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association, and Maytha Al Habsi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Foundation.

When asked about the partnership, and Al Bayt Mitwahid’s aims moving forward, Al Qubaisi stated, "Al Bayt Mitwahid Association has been at the heart of many community events and initiatives which have positively impacted the UAE community by strengthening the spirit of giving, unity, and solidarity. We strive to continue this amazing work and achieve even more in the future. That is why we are constantly looking to make beneficial partnerships with organisations such as the Emirates Foundation, which mirror our values. Together, we aim to accomplish a lot for the community."

Maytha Al Habsi added, "At the Emirates Foundation we strive to guide and empower the youth, with the ultimate aim of impacting their lives positively and permanently. Since our inception, we have been successful at creating partnerships such as the one with Al Bait Mitwahid that reflects our commitment to collaborate, exchange expertise, and expand our reach to create more opportunities for youth across all the Emirates and empower them for the betterment of the nation.

The signing ceremony was also attended by Mohammed Abdullah Al Junaibi, Vice President of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association, Ali Ghanem Al Rumaithi, Board Member of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association, and Abdullah Al Neyadi, Chairman of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association Executive Committee.

In addition to the signing of the MoU, Al Bayt Mitwahid Association officially registered with Volunteers.ae, an Emirates Foundation platform which helps organisations gain volunteers for beneficial community events. The registration was the first act of cohesion between the two parties and is expected to result in many participants gathered through the Emirates Foundation in Al Bayt Mitwahid’s upcoming activities. Potential volunteers can now find and register with all of Al Bayt Mitwahid’s upcoming events on www.volunteers.ae.
