Al Bunyan Al Marsoos military operations room, an affiliate to the Libyan Presidential Council, said the forces advanced militarily on all axes in Sirte.
Despite losing 338 martyrs and having 1,500 personnel injured, the forces managed to realize advance, the operations room said in a message to the Libyan Presidential Council Chairman Fayez al-Sarraj.
The room said the battle with Daesh was fierce and depended on ambushing and sniping, noting that this was behind encumbering heavy casualties.
The room underlined the importance of cooperation with sisterly and friendly states at the security, military and intelligence levels.
He said targeting besieged dangerous targets in Sirte requires advanced military technology which is available in some friendly states, particularly the US.
