Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation, AMAF, today suspended all documentation work for a 24-hour period at its Dubai office, especially for property management and minors’ services that require the physical presence of customers. Instead, transactions were provided solely through AMAF’s smart channels, including its website and the Dubai AMAF app that is available on Android and iOS devices.
The move is in line with the ‘Day without Service Centres’ initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Speaking on AMAF’s participation in the initiative, Tayeb Al-Rais, Secretary-General of AMAF, said, "The Day without Service Centre's initiative reflects the Government of Dubai’s quick move towards achieving its Plan 2021 that aims to establish a smart and sustainable city.
"As part of this mandate, the general public is encouraged to utilise technology and smart platforms to gain accelerated services and thereby save time, money and effort," he added.
