Bahrain’s Ambassador to Belgium and Head of its diplomatic mission to the European Union and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Dr. Bahiya Al-Jeshi, has stressed the key role played by the National Communication Centre (NCC) in projecting Bahrain’s real and bright image to the world, in light of the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his landmark reforms.
She pointed out that continuous communication and coordination between NCC and Bahrain’s embassies are essential to highlight Bahrain’s message to the public in the region and across the world.
NCC Chief Executive, Dr. Mohammed Bahzad, praised the cooperation of the Bahrain Belgium embassy and the diplomatic mission to the EU with NCC, affirming that joint and constructive work with the Foreign Affairs Ministry and Bahrain’s diplomatic missions abroad will help the centre achieve its objectives of building solid and distinguished relations with the communication and media sector, regionally and internationally.
He stressed that among the core functions of NCC is to coordinate with all the relevant parties to ensure that the voice of Bahrain reaches wider segments at the local and international levels, with greater clarity and with richer content and through innovative ways.
The NCC is responsible for developing communication plans and strategies, unifying government discourse and overseeing their implementation and development in coordination with the concerned authorities.
