Head of the Elham Abu Ayesh stressed the importance of the annual International Bazaar, which kicked off in Algeria on Monday, as an important charity event.
In statements to MENA correspondent on Tuesday, she said that the accredited diplomats in Algiers and other parties concerned with Algerian traditional industries participated in this important event, which is held under the sponsorship of AFDA.
Abu Ayesh, the spouse of the Egyptian ambassador in Algiers, said that the bazaar is an opportunity for participants to get acquainted with the culture and customs and traditions of different nations.
Revenues from this charity will be channeled to fund civil society organizations operating in the humanitarian fields, including maternal and child healthcare, persons with special abilities and cancer patients.
The three-day event was held at the Opera House to mark the 100th anniversary of establishing it.
