The Arab League Council of Foreign Ministers convened its extra-ordinary session last night and vehemently condemned and denounced the series of recent terror bombings in Manama which took place on 5th November 2012 and claimed the lives and critically injured a number of innocent residents. The Ministerial Council expressed its utmost concern and denunciation of acts of terrorism and lawless practices, asserting its solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain in its efforts to maintain national unity and consolidate its security and stability. The ministerial council praised the role of the public security in the Kingdom of Bahrain in tackling security turmoil and dealing with saboteurs. The Ministerial Council called for tackling of terrorist activities through the activation of cooperation mechanisms and implementation of international resolutions in this respect. The ministerial council reiterated its full solidarity and support to the Kingdom of Bahrain in its efforts to maintain national security and stability and expressed its approval of all steps taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain in order to maintain the safety of its citizens and residents.
