A conference tackling sustainable development, economic blocs and international cooperation kicked off at the Arab League headquarters on Monday.
The conference is organized in coordination with the Arab Women Investors Union and the National Council for Women.
The conference aims at encouraging trade between Arab and African states, increasing investments and achieving sustainable development through boosting Arab and African trade and economic blocs.
A number of Arab ministers and senior officials, businesswomen and investors as well as representatives of regional and international organizations, NGOs and chambers of commerce will take part in the event.
Several cooperation agreements between Djibouti and the Arab Women Investors Union will be signed on the fringe of the conference.
