The Arab League will send a 10-member delegation to monitor presidential elections in Djibouti, scheduled to start on April 8.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Deputy Arab League Secretary General Ahmed bin Helli said this move comes as part of efforts exerted by the pan-Arab body to deepen democracy in the Arab countries.
The delegation will comprise members from several Arab states, he added.
Another AL delegation will be dispatched to Sudan to monitor local elections that will take place in Darfur in the coming period, he noted.
