A coordination meeting for Arab parliamentary delegation members in Parliamentary Union of OIC Member States (PUOIC) Conference took place on Sunday headed by Kuwait National Assembly Speaker Ali Fahad Al-Rashed. During the meeting, the delegates nominated their candidates for the standing committees in PUOIC. Al-Rashed announced the names of parliament executive committee member countries: Algeria, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Morocco. The Kuwaiti Speaker also said that candidates for PUOIC's political affairs and foreign affairs committee were Egypt, Libya, Palestine, and Kuwait's MP Abdullah Ma'youf. Candidates for the economic and environment affairs committee are Mauritania, Bahrain, and Yemen, Al-Rashed said. The Speaker added human rights, women, and family committee candidates are from Morocco, Mauritania, Iraq, and Jordan. The meeting also nominated Libya, Egypt, Oman, and Lebanon as members in the culture, law, and Civilization Dialogue Committee, Al-Rashed added.
