Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Thursday received at his Yarzeh office former President, Amin Gemayel, with whom he discussed the current developments in the country.
General Aoun then met with the European Union Ambassador to Lebanon, Christina Lassen, with talks reportedly touching on military cooperation relations between the EU armies and the Lebanese army.
The army General then met with British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hugo Shorter, accompanied by the Embassy Military Attaché, Chris Gunning. Talks reportedly touched on the military cooperation between the armies of both countries.
Aoun also met with the USCENTCOM Director of Strategy, Plans and Policy, Maj. Gen. George Smith, at the head of a delegation. Talks touched on the general situation and the US aids' program for the Lebanese Army
