President of Aswan University Ahmed Ghallab and a number of his deputies on Wednesday signed “Alashan Tabneeha” (To Build It) petition calling on President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to run for a second presidential term.
Also, a large number of the university’s students have inked the petition.
Following his signature on the petition, Ghallab urged President Sisi to compete for the upcoming presidential poll for his great role in entrenching stability and attracting Arab and foreign investments to the country.
The number of signatories to the petition reached about 4,000 citizens, the campaign’s coordinator Abdullah Al Ansari revealed.
