Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ghanim bin Fadhl Al-Bouanain today attended at the Arab League headquarters the meeting of the committee in charge of Syria – on the sidelines of the extraordinary ministerial session. The delegations discussed the repercussions of the Syrian crisis, stressing the necessity to reach a peaceful settlement, put an end to violence, stop the bloodshed and preserve Syria’s territorial integrity and its people’s cohesion. UN-Arab League Envoy Lakhdar Ebrahimi updated the session on his efforts to reach a mechanism conducive to the settlement of the Syrian Crisis. Arab League Secretary-General Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi submitted a report on the developments of the Syrian crisis and contacts and consultation in this regard. Syrian Opposition Coalition President Ahmed Moadh Al-Khateeb addressed the session.
