Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Moroccan Minister of Energy, Minerals and Sustainable Development Aziz Rabah and the country’s Ambassador to Bahrain Ahmed Rasheed.
The Moroccan minister was in Bahrain to take part in the First Solar Investment Forum held at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre under the patronage of Dr. Mirza.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of electricity, water and sustainable energy. They also looked at experiences of Arab countries in implementing the latest projects and technologies in the sustainable energy sector.
Dr. Mirza said the Moroccan experience is an ideal model to be followed in the field.
The visiting minister praised the importance Bahrain’s wise leadership attaches to this vital sector and its desire to elevate it to levels of excellence.
The two sides also agreed to co-operate in the fields of electricity, water and sustainable energy and intensify field visits of specialists to activate the benefits of joint experiences.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hashem, Advisor to the Minister.
