Sixty Emirati youngsters representing the second batch of the Watani Al-Emarat Ambassadors –“2020 Leaders “ are taking part in the festivities marking the Kingdom of Bahrain's national celebrations on 16 and 17 December, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini state, an Arab and Muslim country founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, the 46th anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations, and the 18th anniversary of His Majesty's accession to the throne.
UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Abdulredha Abdulla Al-Khoury expressed his delight the participation of Watani Al-Emarat Ambassadors –“2020 Leaders” –an initiative launched by the Watani Al Emarat Foundation.
In a statement today, he said that the youth initiative reflects deep-rooted relations binding the two brotherly countries and peoples, paying tribute to the Royal family for its drive to promote charity and voluntary work.
The second batch of Watani Al-Emarat Ambassadors arrived this morning in Bahrain as part of an inspiring programme to prepare young leaders armed with the spirit of initiative and hone their skills for collective and voluntary work.
The delegation will meet senior officials, including the office of the First Deputy Prime Minister - FDPM Fellowship – the Shura Council, Council of Representatives, the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, the Royal Charity Organisation, the Bahrain Institute of Political Development and other tourism milestones.
