His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received at Sakhir Palace the Speaker of the Representatives Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani and the Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh their deputies and the Representatives and Shura members of the committee to response to His Majesty the King's speech during the opening of the third session for the third legislative term. He praised the Representatives and Shura Councils' chairmen and members' efforts in serving Bahrain and its people affirming the important role of the legislative authority in reinforcing democratic life and the parliamentary process in the Kingdom's comprehensive development. He also affirmed that Bahrain is ongoing with reforms and progress in all fields so as to provide the best services to citizens and residents, adding that Bahrain is a civilized and advanced country which is appreciated by the world, affirming the importance of the upcoming phase in the history of Bahrain. His Majesty the King expressed thanks and appreciation to the Representatives and Shura Councils in promoting national unity, love and cohesion between the people of Bahrain in addition to achieving consensus through fruitful coordination, adopting the issues of the citizens and developing laws and legislations that confirm Bahrain as a state of law and institutions. His Majesty highlighted the two councils' role in taking part in regional, Arab and international conferences as well as reinforcing cooperation and friendship with other countries and exchanging expertise and visits that promotes the Kingdom's presence out of its noble message for love, cooperation and peace. His Majesty the King wished everybody success in achieving Bahrain's progress and development for the best interest of its people.
