Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim A Mulla reiterated Bahrain’s firm position in supporting the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights evidenced by the Kingdom’s role at regional and international functions and confirmed in every Royal speech at the inauguration of the National Assembly’s legislative term.
The Speaker’s remarks came as he received today the Palestinian National Assembly Deputy Speaker Azzam Al Ahmad in the presence of Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Bahrain, Taha Mohammed Abdelqader.

Speaker Al Mulla expressed his appreciation and pride in the Palestinian reconciliation, wishing for the successful reunification of the Palestinian people. He praised the deep-rooted close bilateral ties in all fields nurtured by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Mahmoud Abbas.

The Palestinian Deputy Speaker praised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s continuous support and solidarity with the Palestinian people. He hailed the remarkable role of His Majesty the King, wise government, the Council of Representatives and the Bahraini people in supporting the Palestinian cause. He stressed that Palestine and its people will always remember Bahrain’s genuine supportive stance and solidarity, wishing the Kingdom perpetual security and stability. The Palestinian Deputy Speaker reiterated his country’s full support to all the measures Bahrain takes to combat terrorism and terrorist groups. He also affirmed the State of Palestine’s absolute rejection of foreign interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain..
