The parliamentary elections at the Embassy of Bahrain in Saudi Arabia.

Hundreds of Bahraini citizens, both men and women, participated on Tuesday in the parliamentary elections which took place at the Embassy of Bahrain in Saudi Arabia. 

This participation contributes to reinforcing the democratic and developmental march of the Kingdom, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Humood bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, as well as the embassy’s staff, were the first to cast their votes and select their parliamentary representatives. The polling process was carried out consistently from 8:00 in the morning until 8:00 in the evening.

 The Ambassador, and on behalf of the diplomatic mission, extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on the occasion.

The Ambassador noted the organization of the national event, hailing the cooperation of all those involved which serves the Kingdom’s highest interests.

 The Bahraini Ambassador affirmed that the Bahraini citizens living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed their pride in their country and their loyalty to the leadership, stressing their keenness to carry out their national duties, thus contributing to strengthening the democratic process in the country.

 He added that this national and constitutional event is considered one of the achievements of the national reform approach launched by His Majesty the King since his accession to the throne in 1999, during which Bahrain witnessed the consolidation of the approach of consultation, democracy and sustainable development as well as the promotion of public, political and economic freedoms, in accordance with the Constitution of Bahrain, the National Action Charter and the outcomes of the national dialogue, which strengthened national unity, respect for human rights and the preservation of their dignity.

 Bahraini citizens participating in the polling process expressed their sincere appreciation for the well organized and coordinated atmosphere that showcased the highest sense of loyalty and respect to the leadership, praising the national and democratic achievements of the Bahraini people during the prosperous era of His Majesty the King, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
