His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa asserted that the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, as First Deputy Premier confirms the integrity and unity of the decision-making approach in the national action march and reflects the existing solid complementarity and harmony, established under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa."We congratulate HRH Crown Prince on his appointment, and we congratulate ourselves on his participation in the government work," HRH Premier said, pledging that he will work hand in hand with HRH Crown in all national duties and positions required to serve the homeland, HM the King and the Bahraini people.This came as HRH Premier paid today a visit to HRH Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in Riffa Palace.HRH Premier underlined that thanks to HM the King's wisdom, the progress and development march will continue."Our efforts and national unity will enable us to achieve the aspirations of the Bahraini people," he added, noting that "We have done our national duties, and HRH Crown Prince has contributed in that effectively and, together, we will carry on the national action march in order to achieve all the expectations of our citizens"He also wished HRH Crown Prince every success in assuming the duties assigned to him by HM the King.On his part, HRH Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed earnest thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier for his sincere feelings, support and readiness to meet the requirements of the coming phase of national action in which the continuity of national cohesion and solidarity to protect national unity and preserve its hard-won achievements is direly needed.HRH Crown Prince lauded the pioneering role played by HRH Prime Minister thanks to his wisdom and experience which have promoted dedication and excellence, expressing pride in being able to work alongside HRH Premier, in line with HM the King's desire, to achieve the government's policies put forward by HRH Premier and build on what has been achieved in order to serve the nation and meet the Bahraini people's expectations in all fields.The two Princes reviewed issues related to development, stressing that the citizens will remain the focal point of all development plans in the kingdom and that the government's efforts will focus on identifying the citizens' needs and expectations in order to achieve them and optimize the national accomplishments attained thanks to the joint efforts of all sides.
