Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Gebran Bassil, welcomed in his office the Deputy Governor of the State of Sao Paulo, Marcio Franca, in the presence of Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon, Jorge Geraldo Kadri.
"We have discussed ties between Lebanon and Brazil, especially in terms of opening a direct air line between Lebanon and Sao Paulo, mainly as the city is hosting a large number of Lebanese people. We tackled trade exchange between the two countries, at the level of food products like oil, wine and other goods, what would encourage Brazilians to come to Lebanon and strengthen bilateral relations," Franca said in the wake of the meeting
