Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil said after his meeting with the Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdullatif Derian, at Dar al-Fatwa that "we can turn this crisis into an opportunity. Today, we are all losers in what happened, but we will emerge from the crisis."
"Our only solution is to remain involved. We will not allow division to be sown among us. The Lebanese unanimously wants stability and peace. Whatever we attain by understanding is an achievement," he said
