Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today paid an inspection visit to a number of BDF units in order to be assured on their preparedness.Upon arrival, the Commander-in-Chief was welcomed by the commanders of those units and a number of BDF senior officers.He was briefed about the units' latest development plans and advanced technical systems, and inspected their equipment and military preparedness, affirming BDF's constant desire to provide its units with the latest and most modern military systems, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.He stressed that BDF will spare no efforts to implement HM the King's directives to rehabilitate national cadres and train them on the requirements of modern military technology, expressing pride in the BDF's affiliates' advanced level and dedication in the service of the homeland.He also pledged that BDF will carry on its plans to upgrade the level of its affiliates in accordance with the latest miliatry and combat standards so as to enbale them to perform their duties in the best way.
