Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, attended Saturday the oath-taking ceremony of Iranian President, Sheikh Hassan Rouhani, which took place this afternoon at the Shoura Council in the Iranian capital of Tehran.
Presidents, parliament heads, cabinet ministers and official delegations of around 100 countries representing the East and West were present during the ceremony.
In his oath speech, Rouhani outlined Iran's great accomplishments, including "strengthening its military capabilities and its position in the international system." He also enumerated various domestic achievements at the economic and development levels
