Work is underway to revamp the houses damaged in a terrorist oil pipeline blast which happened near the village of Buri.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister gave directives to repair the damaged houses.

Contractors have started the maintenance of a number of houses after assessing the damages which resulted from the terrorist pipeline explosion.

Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf gave directives to fast-track work to enable the owners to return to their houses soon.

“A ministry’s specialised technical team is supervising the repairs in coordination with other competent authorities”, he said, paying tribute to the wise leadership for their keenness on citizens’ security.

He gave directives to inspect the repairs undertaken by the commissioned contractors who were hired to carry out the required work.

A team from the engineering directorate inspected the damaged buildings and assessed the electrical and mechanical damages.
