The Cabinet convenes at the Baabda palace under the chairmanship of President of the Republic Michel Aoun, to dicsuss 63 items on its agenda.
The Cabinet session takes place in the presence of Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, and ministers.
Speaking prior to the Cabinet session, Minister of Information, Melhem Riachy, said that "the Tele Liban appointments will not take place today, and Prime Minister Saad Hariri promised to put them on the agenda of the next session."
Minister Riachy stressed the dire need that the TL appointments' item be placed on the agenda of upcoming week's Cabinet session.
On the other hand, President Aoun and Premier Hariri held a closed door meeting ahead of the Cabinet's session, dwelling on most recent developments in the country
